Why this site exists
Mahjong sets for three different games are sold under near-identical photographs by hundreds of sellers, and almost every page written about them is either a rewritten product description or a list with no opinion in it. People buy the wrong set — 22 tiles short, or with racks they will never use — because nobody told them which question to ask first.
What we do differently
We start with the game, because a set that cannot play your variant is not a bargain at any price. Then we put the things that genuinely differ — tile count, tile size, material, what is in the box — side by side, and say plainly which set is right for which table.
Why AliExpress first
Nearly every mahjong set sold anywhere is made in a handful of factories in Guangdong, and on AliExpress those factories list directly, in far more sizes and variants than any Western marketplace stocks. Our primary button goes there, through the Admitad affiliate network. Every product page also has an Amazon button for anyone who would rather have faster delivery and a narrower choice.
What we do when we are not sure
Where we have not checked a specific listing by hand, the button runs a search for that type of set rather than pointing at one seller, and the page says so. Sending you to a plausible-looking wrong listing would earn the same commission, which is exactly why we mention it.
What we never do
- Print a price, discount, star rating, review count or stock level.
- Invent urgency — no timers, no “only three left”.
- Label a button “Buy now” when the click leaves for another site.
